New Ruling in MOZAMBIQUE

We have just received an email from the Mozambique Tourism Department stating that all vehicles travelling in Mozambique are to be equipped with the following:
1) The tow vehicle (if towing) to have a blue triangle
2) All vehicles to carry advanced warning signs - red triangles (in the case of a breakdown)
3) All vehicles to carry reflective vests to be used
a) when repairing a vehicle at the roadside
b) at a road accident
c) when loading/unloading cargo which has become dislodged.
This law will come into effect in December 2009. Road users not adhering to the above may be subject to a 1,000MT fine.
