The snoek are hungry this year with regular catches coming out at the traditional sites like Blue Lagoon ("Lugs") , Beachwood and Umhlanga. I heard about a fishermen managing 90kg in a single outing, packing 14 snoek into a kayak fish hatch is quite an achievement. I even caught one the other day so they must be really hungry.
